The firm has a strong labour law & service law practice.

The firm has been engaged by Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd in a number of their legal disputes before different forums all over India. The firm has been engaged in defending Messrs Beckman Coulter International Sa in proceedings relating to non-solicitation/non-compete clause against another multinational IT Giant.

We have also represented Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., NALCO, ONGC, and several other large corporations in industrial disputes, trade union disputes and service disputes.

We are also advising Kumagai-Skanska-HCC-Itochu JV and Nathpa Jhakri JV (JV of HCC and Impregilo SpA) on various employment and labour issues.

Parekh & Co. often represents government bodies in matters which have high stakes and require expert handling. The firm has been engaged by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board in a complex matter regarding applicability of the Central Employees Provident Fund Act with the total claim running into over 300 crores.

It is also representing the Border Wing Home Guards from the State of Gujarat in the Supreme Court.

The Firm recently successfully represented Home Guards in State of Odisha with respect to the entitlement towards Duty Call Allowance.
