The firm has expertise in corporate litigation, constitutional issues, arbitration related litigation, banking issues etc.
The firm has appeared in a wide variety of cases covering the entire spectrum of law. The firm has had the opportunity of working in complex corporate and commercial matters and has appeared for a large number of leading corporate entities, both Indian and foreign. The firm regularly appears for most of the Construction giants in India.
It has appeared in some of the seminal and leading Constitution Bench matters decided by the Supreme Court of India including the cases of I. R. Coelho, Mafatlal Industries, P.A. Inamdar, TMA Pai and others. At present it is handling matters of constitutional importance including relating to minority rights, property owners rights, defection laws etc. It has matters before five, seven and nine judge Bench of the Supreme Court.
The firm has represented Reliance Industries in numerous proceedings before the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court relating to their gas fields in Krishna Godavari Basis also in Panna Mukti Tapti. We also appear for a number of former Presidents of India, Vice Presidents of India and former Prime Ministers of India and various Cabinet Ministers and even represented various Courts themselves including the High Court of Bombay, the High Court of Patna, Calcutta High Court, Press Council of India, the United States Government, Bombay Stock Exchange etc. It also appears, amongst others, for the Eenadu Group, the Marriot Hotel Group, Nanz Partners, World Tanker Carrier Corporation etc.
The Firm has successfully represented ICICI Bank in the landmark judgment of Supreme Court on section 34(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act in the matter of I-Pay Clearing Services Private Limited Vs. ICICI Bank Limited.
