Sonali has done her Masters in Law from the University of Michigan specialising in Corporate Law and Finance. An Advocate on Record of the Supreme Court of India, Ms. Basu is admitted to practice in India and New York, USA.  Sonali heads the practice on Construction Law and Arbitration. She has also been actively involved in mergers, acquisitions and setting up of new joint ventures. Sonali advises large infra projects from the bidding stage till contract completion and thereafter in dispute resolution, if required. She is able to handhold clients from the inception of construction project, prepare risk matrix, negotiate contracts, draft sub contracts, advise on financing, taxation and prepare contractual correspondence.
